This policy explains how Qibla Adhan 3D (the App) handles information. The App provides prayer times, Qibla direction, and optional Adhan reminders with offline-first local preferences.

Information used by the App
Qibla Adhan 3D can use approximate or precise foreground location to calculate prayer times, determine Qibla direction, and suggest a regional calculation method. Location permission is optional. Users can instead enter a city, address, or coordinates manually.
The selected coordinates, place label, time zone, prayer method, reminder choices, calendar adjustment, and appearance preferences are stored locally on the device so the main prayer features work offline. Academy4Tech does not operate an App account or first-party analytics backend for this App.
Manual city or address search uses the Android device’s geocoding provider. Depending on the device, that provider may send the search to its own online service under the provider’s terms and privacy policy.
To choose the correct IANA time zone for a selected point, the App sends only the numeric latitude and longitude to TimeAPI.io over HTTPS. The response supplies a time-zone identifier; no place label, contact detail, account identifier, or sensor reading is included in that request. If the service is unavailable, the App falls back safely and the user can select a time zone manually.
The App reads compass, motion, and magnetic sensors while the Qibla screen is visible. These readings are processed on-device and are not retained as a movement history.
Notifications and alarms
If enabled, the App schedules local prayer reminders. Android may ask for notification and exact-alarm access. Users can disable individual prayers, all reminders, or the related Android permissions at any time.
Advertising
The App includes Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Where required, a consent message is shown before an ad request. Google and its partners may process device identifiers, approximate location, ad interaction, diagnostics, and consent choices according to the user’s region and consent selection. Users can hide the bottom banner for the current App session. It is loaded again on a later App launch. Hiding the banner does not change consent or device-level advertising settings.
Permissions
- Foreground location: optional; used for prayer and Qibla setup.
- Notifications: optional; used for Adhan reminders.
- Exact alarms: optional; improves reminder timing. An inexact fallback is used without it.
- Internet and network state: used for geocoding, coordinate time-zone lookup, consent, and advertising.
- Boot completed: restores locally scheduled reminders after restart.
- Vibration: used by enabled reminder channels.
The App does not request background location, contacts, microphone, camera, photos, or phone-call access.
Data retention and deletion
App preferences stay on the device until changed, App data is cleared, or the App is uninstalled. Android backup or device transfer may copy eligible preferences if the user’s system backup is enabled. Users can remove local data through Android Settings > Apps > Qibla Adhan 3D > Storage > Clear storage.

Children
The App is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect first-party personal information from children. Google Play audience selections and advertising treatment are configured to match the production release and applicable law.
Changes
Academy4Tech may update this policy when App features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the latest published version.
