Bop’s Balloon Galaxy privacy policy.

How the child-directed Bop’s Balloon Galaxy game handles local progress, Android backup, and limited advertising.

Who we are

Bop’s Balloon Galaxy (the “App”) is a child-directed balloon game provided by Academy4Tech. Academy4Tech is the entity responsible for the App and this Privacy Policy.

For privacy, support, or deletion questions, email [email protected]. An alternative contact is [email protected]. Website: academy4tech.com.

Information stored by the App

The App does not require an account and does not ask a child to enter a name, email address, date of birth, phone number, photo, voice recording, school, precise location, or other personal profile information.

The App stores only game progress on the device: the highest unlocked level and the best star result for completed levels. This information is used to unlock the next level and show progress. Academy4Tech does not receive this local game progress.

Android backup and device transfer

Android may include the App’s local progress in cloud backup or device transfer when the device owner has enabled those Android features. Google or the device provider operates that backup service under its own terms. Academy4Tech cannot view or delete a private Android backup.

Users can remove local progress by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App. Restoring an Android backup may restore progress later. Device owners can manage or delete device backups through their Android or Google account settings.

Advertising

The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show one native advertisement at the bottom of the scrollable home screen. Ads do not appear during gameplay, on the level map, or in the Banana Bonus.

Before the advertising SDK is initialized, the App identifies its requests as child-directed, disables publisher privacy personalization, and limits ad content to Google’s G rating. The App also removes Android Advertising ID and Privacy Sandbox advertising permissions from its manifest. These settings are intended to prevent interest-based advertising and limit ads for a child audience; they do not prevent Google from processing all information needed to deliver, secure, measure, and diagnose an ad.

Google states that the Mobile Ads SDK may process information such as an IP address, general location inferred from an IP address, app interactions, ad views and interactions, diagnostic information, and device or app identifiers that remain available under the device and platform configuration. Google handles that information under the Google Privacy Policy, its explanation of how Google uses information from apps that use its services, and the Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure.

Academy4Tech may receive aggregated AdMob reports, such as ad impressions and performance. The App does not deliberately add a child’s local game progress or typed personal information to an ad request.

Permissions and other services

The App requests network access only to initialize and load the disclosed Google advertisement. It does not request Android location, camera, microphone, contacts, phone, SMS, call-log, or broad photo and file permissions. The current build contains no Academy4Tech account service, chat, social feature, analytics SDK, or in-app purchase system.

Sharing, sale, and retention

Academy4Tech does not sell a child’s personal information. Local game progress stays on the device except for Android backup or device transfer controlled by the device owner. Advertising information is processed by Google as described above and retained according to Google’s policies and applicable law. Academy4Tech may retain aggregated advertising business records for accounting, security, and legal obligations.

Children’s privacy

The App is intentionally directed to children and is designed to minimize data collection. It does not create user profiles, provide public posting, or collect contact details. Parents or guardians with a privacy concern can contact Academy4Tech using the addresses above. If Academy4Tech learns that information was handled contrary to applicable child-privacy law, it will investigate and take appropriate action.

Security

Local progress is stored in Android private app storage. Network communication by the Google Mobile Ads SDK uses the security measures documented by Google. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but the App limits the information it requests and the services it uses.

Changes to this policy

Academy4Tech may update this policy when the App, SDKs, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date will be updated, and material new data flows will be disclosed before or when they are introduced as required.
